The PDP has responded to President-elect Bola Tinubu’s gratitude towards Governor Nyesom Wike for his contribution to Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election.
Tinubu praised Wike for his insistence that the presidency must return to the South, which he believes helped him win.
However, Atiku’s aide, Daniel Bwala, claims that Wike stole and diverted votes meant for Peter Obi of the Labour Party to Tinubu.
Bwala questions whether a soup made of a stolen chicken curry can make a delicious cocktail.
Tweeting, Bwala wrote: “Tinubu congratulated Wike for contributing to his election (selection) victory.
“Meanwhile, the votes Wike credited to him were allegedly stolen from Peter Obi’s Labour as shown on IREV.
“Can a soup made of a stolen chicken-curry make a delicious cocktail?”
Tinubu spoke highly of Wike’s integrity and dependability during a flyover commissioning in Rivers State.
The origins of the statement are unclear.
