President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s long-awaited ministerial list is set to be unveiled today, Tuesday, July 25, according to an update from an aide to former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Bashir Ahmad, a digital communications aide to Buhari, revealed on his official Twitter handle that the list would be announced at the Senate during Tuesday’s plenary, barring any last-minute changes.
“Barring any last-minute change, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu‘s much-anticipated ministerial nominees’ list will be announced by the Senate tomorrow, Tuesday.”
The President has a 60-day window to submit his ministerial list for screening and confirmation at the National Assembly, as mandated by the 1990 Constitution.
There have been speculations and reports about the list, with some suggesting that it has undergone reshuffling.
However, the official announcement is expected to be made today.
