Windows 11 Preview Build Introduces Facebook Widget and More

Microsoft has recently released a new preview build of Windows 11 for its insiders on the Dev Channel, bringing several new features, including a dedicated Facebook widget.

This widget, Meta’s second for Windows, allows users to check their Facebook notifications directly from the Windows 11 widgets board.

Insiders on the Canary and Beta channels will also have access to the Facebook widget.

Additionally, the preview build introduces a more modernized details pane for the File Explorer app, displaying more contextual information about selected files.

Microsoft is also testing two different looks for Windows Spotlight, both including 4K portrait images and website recommendations in the Start Menu.

Other improvements include enhancements for Narrator in Excel, notification badging in the Start menu, and bug fixes.

The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23451 has already started rolling out to insiders and will reach stable users soon.
