Mercedes-Benz is introducing a new AI tool called ChatGPT that will allow drivers to have full conversations with their cars.
Currently, certain Mercedes drivers can use voice commands to turn on the air conditioning by saying “Hey Mercedes.”
However, the new ChatGPT feature will make the in-car assistant even smarter, allowing drivers to ask a wide range of questions just like they would on a computer.
This means drivers could ask their car for activity suggestions or even ask it to tell their kids a story.
The feature will be available to 900,000 Mercedes drivers in the US who sign up for the beta program.
