So far, the number of full-time managers Liverpool have had is 21.

Kenny Dalglish is the only person to have been the coach of the Reds twice, the first tme being from 1985 to February 1991, and then from January 2011 to July 2012.

John McKenna/W. E. Barclay (1892 – 1896)

Number one on the list Of Liverpool Managers are Barclay and McKenna. For whatever reason, Liverpool’s official website lists both of them as joint managers, whereas Barclay held the post of “secretary-manager”, McKenna held the post of “coach-manager”.
