5. Darwin Núñez – £179,423 per week and £9,330,000 per year

In June 2022, Liverpool reached an agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Núñez on a five-year contract until 2027 for an €85 million fee making him Liverpool’s record transfer.

He is the fifth highest-paid player in Liverpool.

4. Alexander-Arnold, Firmino, Jota, Fabinho – £180,000 per week and £9,360,000 per year

On 30 July, Alexander-Arnold signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool keeping him at the club until 2025.

Firmino is on a five-year contract which expires in 2023. 

In August 2022, Jota signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool which would see him stay at Anfield until 2027. In August 2021, Fabinho signed a long-term contract with Liverpool until 2026.

They are all the fourth highest-paid players in Liverpool.

3. Thiago Alcántara – £200,000 per week and £10,400,000 per year

Thiago joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in 2020 and is under a four-year contract which is set to expire in 2024.

He has 71 appearances and 3 goals for the club winning one FA cup and Community shield. He is the third highest earner in Liverpool.

2. Virgil van Dijk – £220,000 per week and £11,440,000 per year

In August 2021, Van Dijk signed a new four-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2025.

Since his move from Southampton in January of 2018, the Dutchman has made 187 appearances and scored 17 goals for Liverpool.

He is the second highest earner in Liverpool.

1. Mohamed Salah – £350,000 per week and £18,200,000 per year

In July 2022, Salah signed a new contract with Liverpool which would see him stay at the club until 2025.

He became the club’s highest earner in their history as well as the joint fifth highest paid player in the Premier League.

The Egyptian has scored 159 goals in 260 appearances for the club.
