Brazil declares 3 day-mourning for legendary footballer Pelé

Brazil’s government has announced three days of national mourning for the late great footballer, Pelé, in an extra edition of a government gazette.

President Jair Bolsonaro signed the decree, expressing his sorrow over the news of Pelé’s passing at age of 82.

The period of mourning will take place between Thursday until Sunday when the President is set to leave office.
