Tammy Abraham has officially joined Beşiktaş on a season-long loan from AS Roma, NaijNaira can report.
Daniel Amokachi, the former Super Eagles star and Beşiktaş fan favorite, backed the English striker with strong words of support.
According to Süperbahis, Amokachi said, “Tammy, I see the potential in you to become the next Black Bull.”
The Nigerian legend, who scored 25 goals in 112 appearances for the Turkish club, remains a well-respected figure in Istanbul.
Beşiktaş secured Abraham’s services with a €2 million loan fee, including a buy option tied to performance clauses.
If triggered, the transfer becomes permanent for €13 million, paid in instalments until 2030.
Abraham’s deal includes a guaranteed salary of €6 million for the 2025–2026 season.
He joins the Turkish giants with experience from Chelsea, Aston Villa, AC Milan, and AS Roma.
Amokachi continued, “As long as you keep scoring goals, this big Beşiktaş family will love you more and more.”
The 26-year-old forward was previously approached by former NFF president Amaju Pinnick to switch allegiance to Nigeria.
However, Abraham eventually committed to England and now hopes to reignite his career in Turkey.
Amokachi ended his message with optimism, saying, “This season is going to be something special.”
Beşiktaş fans now wait to see if Abraham lives up to the expectations set by the man once known as “The Bull.”
