Moslem Anatouf, a forward for Algeria, recently expressed his admiration for Nigerian superstar Victor Osimhen.
Anatouf believes that Osimhen’s story is motivating young players all over the world.
Currently playing for his country at the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Algeria, the 17-year-old caught attention after scoring twice in the opening game of the tournament.
Osimhen is among the many superstars who have played in the U-17 AFCON in the past, having scored four goals for the Golden Eaglets side that came fourth at the 2015 edition hosted by Niger Republic.
Anatouf is determined to follow in Osimhen’s footsteps and hopes to be scouted by clubs as he competes in the tournament.
“This competition is a great platform for players to shine and give themselves a chance to be scouted,” he said.
