Ahead of an All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital, a chieftain of the party, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has challenged Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike to prove that he is genuinely supporting the party’s candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
Last week, Wike had granted permission for APC Presidential Campaign Council to use the Yakubu Gowon Stadium for free but according to Eze, it is a mere facade.
He said that if Wike wants to be truly supportive of Tinubu’s presidential project, he must physically appear at the rally and begin the process of registering with the party from his ward.
Moreover, he needs to pay respects to Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi who is leading the regional APC faction.
Otherwise, his declarations of support are inconsequential and should be taken as such.
