Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has criticized Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, for advocating the regulation of social media to combat the spread of fake news.
Keyamo had stated that while social media has its benefits, measures must be taken to sanitize the system and prevent the dissemination of false information that could harm the country.
In response, Suleman took to Twitter to describe Keyamo as one of the authors of fake news, alleging that the minister only wants social media regulated because he is frequently criticized online.
Suleman also accused Keyamo of spreading false information about him in the past and claimed that his actions would have lasting consequences for him and his family.
