Nigerian musician Davido has confirmed that he and his long-time partner Chioma Rowland are officially married.
In an interview with actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, Davido revealed that the break from social media allowed him to reflect on his family and work on his album.
The couple reportedly had a secret traditional marriage ceremony in Lagos on November 4, 2022, before the burial of their son Ifeanyi the following day.
Chioma’s kinsmen from Imo State hosted Davido’s family at the ceremony, where Chioma’s bride price was paid.
The final marriage rites were concluded in Chioma’s hometown on January 2, 2023.
