10.  André Kana-Biyik – 15 Goals

Kana-Biyik participated in the 1990 and 1994 FIFA World Cups with Cameroon. He was sent off in Cameroon’s 1990 FIFA World Cup opening game against Argentina which saw his brother François Omam-Biyik score the winning goal in a 1-0 win. The 6 ft 0 defender played most of his club football at Le Havre in France. He scored 15 goals in 59 appearances for Cameroon.

9.  Emmanuel Kundé – 17 Goals

Emmanuel participated in 2 world cup tournaments (1982 and 1990) with Cameroon. He won 2 AFCON titles including the 1988 edition when he scored the winning goal via a penalty kick to defeat Nigeria and claim the title. He has 17 goals in 102 caps for Cameroon. Kundé played most of his club football in Canon Yaoundé in his hometown Cameroon.

8.  Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting – 18 Goals

Choupo-Moting currently plays for Bundesliga side Bayern Munich and the Cameroonian national team. He scored his first goal for Cameroon in his second appearance for Cameroon in a match against Serbia in 2010. He has 18 goals in 68 caps for Cameroon.

7.  Pierre Webó – 19 Goals

Webó scored a hat trick in his debut for Cameroon in a world cup qualification match against Ivory Coast which ended 3-2 to Cameroon. He played 59 matches for Cameroon and scored 19 goals for them.

6.  Alphonse Tchami – 21 Goals

Tchami participated in the 1994 and 1998 World Cups with Cameroon and the 1996 AFCON tournament. He has 21 goals in 57 appearances for Cameroon.

5.  François Omam-Biyik – 26 Goals         

Omam-Biyik participated in three world cups (1990, 1994 and 1998). He was the one who scored the goal that gave Cameroon a historic 1–0 win over defending world champions Argentina in the San Siro in the opening match of the 1990 World Cup. He also was part of the team that won the 1988 AFCON tournament. He has 26 goals in 73 appearances for Cameroon.

4.  Vincent Aboubakar – 33 Goals            

Aboubakar currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. He made his debut for Cameroon in a friendly match against Slovakia in 2010. He won the AFCON tournament in 2017 and won the 2021 AFCON golden boot with 5 goals. He has 33 goals in 87 caps for Cameroon.

3.  Patrick M’Boma – 33 Goals   

M’Boma participated in two world cups (1998 and 2002). He has 2 AFCON titles to his name (2000 and 2002). He was also the AFCON top scorer in 2002. The Coppa Italia winner has 33 goals in 55 appearances for Cameroon.

2.  Roger Milla – 43 Goals

Milla made his debut for Cameroon in 1973 in a World Cup qualifier against Zaire. He participated in 3 world cups (1982, 1990 and 1994) and made his name in the 1990 edition scoring 4 goals in the tournament. He also won the 1984 and 1988 AFCON tournaments and was also named the 1986 and 1988 AFCON top scorer. He made 77 appearances and scored 43 goals for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

1.  Samuel Eto’o – 56 Goals

Eto’o made his debut for Cameroon in 1997 in a 5-0 friendly loss against Costa Rica. He participated in 4 World Cups (1998, 2002, 2010 and 2014). He won the 2000 and 2002 AFCON tournaments and also the Olympic gold medal in 2000. The former Barcelona forward won the African Cup of Nations top goalscorer in 2006 and 2008. He’s also the highest goal scorer in AFCON history with 18 goals. He is the highest goal scorer for Cameroon with 56 goals in 118 caps for the Indomitable Lions.
