Jorginho Reveals the Truth Behind His Transfer to Arsenal
Jorginho, who moved from Chelsea to sign for Arsenal on Tuesday night, has admitted that manager Mikel Arteta was one of the reasons he decided to join the club.
Jorginho has revealed that the manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, was a big factor in convincing him to sign for the Gunners from Chelsea.
On Tuesday night, Jorginho sealed a transfer-deadline switch from Chelsea and signed an 18-month contract with Arsenal which includes a one-year extension option.
During his first press conference at Arsenal, Jorginho noted Mikel Arteta’s previous attempts to try and acquire him as he said: “He had a big influence.”
He is now set to make his debut for Arsenal this weekend against Everton in the Premier League.
