Renowned American rapper Kanye West has revealed his plans to include Lagos, Nigeria, in his upcoming world tour in 2024 and 2025.
In an Instagram story post on Wednesday, West shared the tour lineup, which features three installments.
The itinerary includes a performance at Eko Energy City in Lagos on December 14, 2024, and Nyayo International Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, on December 7, 2024.
This will be Kanye West’s second performance in Lagos, with his first being at the 2007 Star Mega Jam. The world tour kicks off on June 22, 2024, in Toronto, Canada, and will travel across the United States until August.
It will then extend to Mexico, Spain, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates before concluding in Kenya and Nigeria in December.
In January 2025, West will continue the tour in Australia and wrap up in Japan in February. In other news, West’s 10-year-old daughter, North West, made a surprise appearance in his latest music video for the track “Talking” from his upcoming album, “Vultures.”
The video, which premiered on Wednesday, showcases North’s rapping talents as she confidently delivers lines alongside her father.
Dressed in black attire like her renowned father, North leaves her mark in the video, which is part of the controversial “Vultures” album set to release on February 9.
Fans in Lagos can look forward to an exciting performance from Kanye West as he brings his world tour to the city in December 2024.
