Lamine Yamal, a 15-year-old player from Barcelona’s La Masia academy, has made history by becoming the youngest player to ever appear in La Liga for the club.
He made his debut in the league during Saturday’s victory over Real Betis, coming on as a substitute in the 84th minute.
Although his team was already leading by four goals, Yamal almost scored, making it a memorable debut.
He is now the fifth-youngest player to appear in La Liga, with Mallorca’s Luka Romero currently holding the record.
