Lamine Yamal Makes History as Barcelona's Youngest La Liga Player

Lamine Yamal, a 15-year-old player from Barcelona’s La Masia academy, has made history by becoming the youngest player to ever appear in La Liga for the club.

He made his debut in the league during Saturday’s victory over Real Betis, coming on as a substitute in the 84th minute.

Although his team was already leading by four goals, Yamal almost scored, making it a memorable debut.

He is now the fifth-youngest player to appear in La Liga, with Mallorca’s Luka Romero currently holding the record.

Despite Real Madrid’s win over UD Almeria, Barcelona remains 11 points clear at the top of the Spanish league, furthering their cause to reclaim the La Liga title.

Yamal is considered the next big thing to come out of Barcelona’s talent cradle, and his debut has only added to the anticipation surrounding his future.
