President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has submitted a list of 19 additional ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
Among the nominees is Dr. Maryam Shettima, also known as Maryam Shetty, who is a strong advocate for good governance.
Dr. Shettima is the founder of the ‘We Believe Movement,’ an independent initiative aimed at promoting national unity and active citizenship.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Physiotherapy and has been recognized as one of Africa’s influential young leaders.
In the political sphere, Dr. Shettima has been actively involved in various roles within the Presidential Campaign Team and has contributed to the successful organization of elections.
She continues to advocate for peacebuilding, quality leadership, and the inclusion of women and minorities in society through her influential movement.
In recognition of her leadership and community development contributions, she has received an Honorary Degree from the ESGT University of Technology.
