Mauricio Pochettino could be in line to take over from Graham Potter as Chelsea’s manager if the Blues decide to sack the latter.
Potter has struggled in his role since taking charge back in September, with Chelsea currently sitting in 10th place in the Premier League and having recently suffered a 4-0 loss to Man City.
Fans have been calling for the Brighton boss’ dismissal and according to reports, Pochettino is ready to swoop in should the club let go of Potter.
The 47-year-old Argentine, who last managed PSG before being dismissed back in July 2022, is no stranger to managing top clubs – something that Chelsea are now considering.
The Blues will face Fulham this Thursday night and it remains to be seen whether or not they will make a decision regarding Potter’s future soon.
