The Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Chief Emma Ogugu, recently named Nollywood veteran actress Joke Silva as the board’s first female representative from the Southwest zone.
Silva expressed her enthusiasm for this responsibility, expressing her belief that her role would help to advance the guild and strengthen Nigeria through valid storytelling.
Emeka Rollas, AGN’s re-elected National President, then announced his appointed cabinet members who will join him in managing the organization.
These include Ifeoma Okeke as Chief of Staff, Kevin Uvo as National Task Force Chairperson, Agility Onwurah as Chief Protocol Officer and Deyemi Okanlawon as Director of Planning and Strategy amongst others.
As part of his efforts to modernize the guild’s operations, Rollas also launched its official website: www.actorsguildofnigeria.org which stores important information and provides email access for all Guild members.
