A tragic incident occurred in Nnewi, Anambra state, where a 30-year-old Pentecostal church pastor named Prosper Igboke jumped from a two-storey building and lost his life.
It is reported that the pastor took this extreme step after being disappointed by his girlfriend, whom he had supported through university.
According to a relative, the lady declined his marriage proposal, which led to this unfortunate event.
The relative expressed surprise that someone of his age and position as a pastor would take such drastic action.
As a result of the perceived sacrilege of taking his own life, Igboke will be buried in a forest according to the tradition of Leru autonomous community of Umunneochi LGA in Abia state.
