Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has acknowledged the key edge Arsenal have over his side in the Premier League title race.
According to Guardiola, a hunger for success due to not having won the title in recent years gives the Gunners a boost that City do not have, given their back-to-back titles of the last two seasons.
Guardiola stated that sometimes those who have achieved success tend to drop their levels and this is why he believes Arsenal are strong favourites for this season’s title race.
The City boss then went on to acknowledge how impressive it was that his team are still right in contention, despite trailing league leaders Arsenal by 50 points after the first half of the season.
