The proposed social security policy aims to bridge the inflation gaps and boost the purchasing power of citizens. Tinubu emphasized the importance of providing allowances for the unemployed and developing a consumer credit scheme to reduce fraud and corruption.

He believes that by re-engineering Nigeria’s finances and enhancing the standard of living for all citizens, the country can achieve comprehensive economic security.

In addition to the social security policy, Tinubu highlighted the significance of education in combating poverty and empowering the youth. He mentioned the establishment of the National Student Loan Program as a means to support parents in providing quality education for their children.

Regarding security, Tinubu reassured the delegation that those who threaten the sovereignty of Nigeria will face consequences. He expressed his commitment to unity and constitutional democracy and declared that terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping will be defeated.

Tinubu emphasized the government’s efforts in intelligence gathering and their determination to protect the nation. The president thanked the delegation for their support and prayers, promising to continue advancing Nigeria’s development.

He also acknowledged the importance of fairness and equity for all Nigerians and the need for constitutional amendments to devolve more powers to the states.
