Richarlison injury update Tottenham give positive news on Brazilian's Fitness

Tottenham Hotspur assistant coach Cristian Stellini has provided an update on the fitness of Brazilian forward Richarlison, who was absent from Saturday’s FA Cup win over Preston.

Speaking after the 3-0 victory, Stellini stated that the injury wasn’t serious and he should be back in training next week ahead of Sunday’s clash with reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.

Richarlison had been struggling with a hamstring problem recently and his latest issue is an adductor concern.

Spurs have recently signed winger Arnaut Danjuma and he made an immediate impact by scoring off the bench to help seal the win against Preston.

Despite dominating possession in the first half, it took until five minutes into the second period for Tottenham to make their breakthrough as Son Heung-min smashed home a stunning left-footed strike from distance.

It proved to be the difference between the two sides as Spurs march onwards in this late season cup run.
