Rita Edochie Named AGN's Women's Leader

Renowned Nigerian actress, Rita Edochie, has recently been appointed as the women’s leader of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).

She took to her Instagram page to announce this significant milestone in her career. Expressing her gratitude, she thanked the guild for entrusting her with the responsibility and pledged to uphold the AGN’s standards under the guidance of God.

In her heartfelt message, Rita Edochie wrote, “I thank the Actors Guild of Nigeria for finding me worthy of occupying the position of women leader/welfare of members. As the AGN women leader, I promise to do my best to keep the flag flying with the help of God almighty. Together, we move on.”

Notably, May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, also extended her support and congratulations to Rita Edochie. May highlighted the careful selection of Rita for this role and encouraged her to embrace the responsibilities that come with it.

She wrote, “Whoever the cap fits, let him/her wear. This particular one was carefully selected. Congrats, beautiful momma @ritaedochie. More grace and elevations.”
