Insider details have revealed that two influential individuals from a specific political group will be included in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial list.

These individuals, former governor of Edo state Prof Oserheimen Osunbor and career Ambassador Musa Mohammed from Taraba State, are said to have played a significant role in supporting Tinubu’s presidential campaign.

The ministerial list is expected to be submitted to the National Assembly for screening in the coming weeks.

The political group, known as Elites Coalition for Good Governance, has recommended three individuals for ministerial positions, including former Minister of Communications Adebayo Shittu from Oyo State.

However, there may be issues with Shittu’s nomination as the state governor, Seyi Makinde, has been given the mandate to nominate someone else.

The Elites Coalition for Good Governance, previously known as the Northern Elites Coalition for Good Governance, changed its name to reflect a national identity.

Speaking on the mission of the group, a member of the group said:

“We worked for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The SGF Akume was our national president and Ambassador Musa Muhammed from Jigawa State, Prof. Osunbor from Edo State, former governor, former minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu. In fact, we normally hold our meetings in his (Shittu) house.

“Three of our members have been tipped for ministerial positions. Prof. Osunbor, Musa Mohammed and Shittu. I don’t think his own (Shittu) will sail through, but we are still praying.”
