Ugochukwu Nwaghodoh, the Executive Director of Risk Management and Finance at United Bank for Africa (UBA), recently purchased two million shares of the bank.

The purchase was made in four separate transactions, with a total value of over N16 million.

This news comes after billionaire investor Tony Elumelu’s private equity firm, HH Capital, purchased 70 million units of UBA shares, where Elumelu serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

As of December 2022, Elumelu holds a total of 2,185,934,184 UBA shares, both directly and indirectly through various entities.
