The former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, recently praised the record and performance of President Muhammadu Buhari, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and former Kano State Governor Musa Kwankwaso in an address at ACIPA’s ‘Day of Prayers, Awards and Book Dedication’.
According to Dogara, he believes that Atiku is the most experienced candidate for the presidency and has done more for the northern church than any other Nigerian leader.
He also commended Atiku’s support during his bid to become Speaker nearly eight years ago.
Commenting on Peter Obi’s Labour Party candidature, Dogara admitted that he was not well acquainted with him.
As for the NNPP candidate, he said it had not launched a nationwide campaign required to compete at such a high level.
Dogara urged Christians to select candidates which best reflect their moral ethos when casting their ballots.
