A human rights organisation, the Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice (CHRSJ) has cautioned the River State Governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike over his actions on Atiku Abubakar, former vice president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for 2023 presidential election.
According to This Day Newspaper, it was reported that the group gave the caution following incessant attacks on Abubakar as if the governor was God that would choose the next president for Nigerians in 2023.
It is no more news that Governor Wike recent actions on Atiku presidential ambition is as a result of the internal crises in the party.
The internal crises happened after the chairman of PDP refused to step down when Governor was insisting he steps down for a southerner to take over for the sake of equity.
Some Nigerians have been urging Gov Wike and Atiku to end the crises so that it won’t affect PDP in 2023 election.
