The political landscape in Nigeria has been shaken by recent comments made by Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), regarding his rival Rabiu Kwankwaso.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Ganduje accuses Kwankwaso, who is the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria’s Peoples Party, of orchestrating demolitions in Kano for his own political gain.
Ganduje claims that these demolitions were part of Kwankwaso’s plan to position himself as a champion of progress and to lobby for the role of Federal Capital Territory minister.
This accusation comes amidst a long-standing rivalry between the two politicians, who have had a history of political differences that have attracted significant attention from the Nigerian public and media.
As of now, Kwankwaso has not officially responded to these allegations made by his political rival.
