JUST IN: Governor Ganduje’s residence in Kano on fire

The personal residence of Kano state’s outgoing Governor, Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje, located at Miyangu Street in Nassarawa GRA Kano, has been engulfed in flames.

The State Fire Service confirmed the incident on Thursday and stated that the fire was already under control by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

It was reported that the fire started in the area where Ganduje kept his cows, resulting in the death of many of the animals and the destruction of other valuable property.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, but it is believed to have started during metal welding work being carried out to improve the residence.
