Former professional boxer Mike Tyson has revealed that Jamie Foxx suffered a stroke last month, which led to the actor being rushed to hospital while filming his upcoming Netflix movie, Back in Action.
Although Jamie has since been discharged and is recovering at a physical rehabilitation facility, his family has not yet disclosed what happened to him.
Jamie was set to portray Mike in the boxing legend’s upcoming biographical TV series, but it is unclear whether the show will continue following Jamie’s health struggles.
Mike suggested that the reason for the lack of updates on Jamie’s condition may be that “they don’t want us to know.”
Despite the setback, Jamie’s daughter Corinne has announced an upcoming work announcement and expressed hope that the show will bring fun to audiences when it premieres in 2024.
