Paul and Peter were born on 18 November 1981 in Anambra State, Nigeria with five other siblings: Jude, Mary, Tony, Lilian and Ifeanyi.
Having been inspired by their music idol Michael Jackson to pursue a career as artists, the twins began break dancing and eventually established an a cappella quartet named ‘MMMPP’ (M Clef A.K.A Itemoh, Michael Melvin. Peter & Paul).
The group went through various iterations until settling on ‘P-Square’ with the assistance of manager Bayo Odusami aka Howie T (the CEO of Adrot Nigeria Limited).
With Benson & Hedges sponsoring their debut album Last Nite in 2001 Their inventive talent gained them recognition nationwide but especially in the city of Jos where they would frequently perform at school functions.
In 2005 Get Squared was released under their own label Square Records and became widely successful ranging across 8 million copies worldwide since its release.
