The Nigerian top flight league, NPFL, was previously on TV thanks to the popular cable TV network owned by Multichoice. However, the station pulled out of the deal to beam Nigeria’s top-flight league live to its teaming followers.
The League Management Company tried to bring it back on TV through NTA and NEXT TV but it never reach an enviable level as the NPFL TV app.
What Is NPFL TV App?
The NPFL TV App is a streaming mobile platform where you can watch football matches in High Definition, specifically local league matches.
The platform is owned by Redstrike, a new technology company based in the UK. The NPFL TV app is available on the Play Store and Apple iOS store.
NPFL TV has a beautifully designed home page where you can access a lot of sections.
How Does NPFL TV App Works?
To access the NPFL Tv app, download the application from respective app stores, click on the install button and you will have the package on your phone.
To have access to the games streamed, you need to register them with Gmail, Facebook or by registering fully on the website with an E-mail and this will give you the opportunity to enjoy a seven-day trial period.
With your Email, you click on register, while you can use your Facebook account to log in by clicking “Allow” for the permission request.
Do the same procedure for your Gmail to sign in using Gmail and fill in every necessary detail requested to be filled then you can enjoy the premium contents for an initial free period of seven days.
After the trial period, the subscription is at N1,500 every month and this will give access to every streamed match.
Streaming can be done with your phone, laptop, personal computer, tablets and other compatible devices.
However, the NPFL streams an average of one game per week and on rare occasions where match venues are close, two games on a weekend.

LIVE Streaming
With this section on the home page, you will be taken straight to the action, right on your streaming device. The featured game will be streamed live and will be available for full match replay hours after the match.
Access to live stream costs 1,500 Naira monthly and at a point, pay-per-view was introduced for around #200 for a particular game.
Therefore, you watch your favourite players on every available ground in the NPFL far and wide in the country in the comfort of your home.
Videos
In the video segment, you get highlights of previous matches streamed on NPFL Tv including the Media corner where players and coaches talk to newsmen.
You can catch up on games you have missed or rewatch the action. Highlights from other centers are also available but you can only enjoy these when you are subscribed.
Matches
Get the results from previous matches and fixtures for upcoming games in this section while you can also check the table for the latest standing of your favorite clubs.
NPFL TV app will also alert you of any adjustments in the fixture schedule or any latest development.
Clubs
Under the Clubs section, you can get information about clubs in the NPFL including their profile, fixtures, squad and others.
Players
This gives comprehensive information about players and their clubs in the NPFL, bringing the players closer to the fans.
