Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears to have jetted overseas after being dropped from Chelsea’s Champions League squad by manager Graham Potter on Friday.
The out-of-favor Blues striker was pictured in his brother Willy’s Instagram story, apparently enjoying a holiday in Milan with other family members.
The family posed outside the Duomo di Milano and the post was captioned ‘My Family’.
Although his absence from their draw against Fulham is puzzling, Potter insists that Aubameyang took the news of his axing well, saying that he has ‘done nothing wrong at all’ and had trained ‘fantastically’.
Also, he wasn’t the only one to make way for new January signings, with six other players also missing out on a place in Chelsea’s competition squad.
