Another Nigerian to be named as replacement at Napoli as Osimhen bows out

Napoli, the newly-crowned champions, are on the lookout for potential replacements for their striker Victor Osimhen, who may leave this summer, with Manchester United among the interested parties.

Napoli and AC Milan are both eyeing Arsenal prospect Folarin Balogun in the summer transfer window.

Balogun had a prolific season on loan at Stade Reims, scoring 21 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions, making him one of the best young strikers in Europe.

Arsenal are willing to let Balogun go for at least £30m to balance the books, as they expect a busy summer of ins and outs at the Emirates.

Balogun is under contract with Arsenal until 2025, but has suggested that he would be open to leaving this summer for regular first-team football.

Napoli knows they may need to bring in attacking reinforcements, with Osimhen wanted by United, Newcastle, and Paris Saint-Germain.
