6. Tariq Lamptey – Brighton
Tariq was born in England and made a couple of caps for the English youth sides but he has since switched to Ghana and played for the Black Stars and is poised for an appearance at the World Cup.
The right back has made over 50 appearances for the Seagulls since debuting for them two years ago. The 22-year-old can play as a right back and a left back and was at some point in his career with Chelsea before moving to Brighton.
His debut was in a 3-0 friendly loss to Brazil on September 23 2022 when he replaced Denis Odoi.
5 Jeffrey Schlupp – Crystal Palace
Born in Germany to Ghanaian parents, Schlupp has become a mainstay at Crystal Palace where he has been around since 2017.
The defender has made over 150 appearances for the Eagles, previously he was with Leicester City between 2011 and 2017. For Ghana, he has played around 20 games.
4. Daniel Amartey – Leicester City
Since joining Leicester City in 2016, Amartey has made around 100 appearances for the Foxes. 28-year-old Daniel Amartey was previously playing for Copenhagen in Denmark.
He signed a four-and-a-half-year contract when he joined from the Danish side and he has won the Premier League, FA Cup and community shield with the Foxes.
The Defender who can also play in the midfield position has made 45 appearances for the Black Stars. He was part of the Black Stars team that finished second at the 2015 AFCON.
3. Jordan Ayew – Crystal Palace
The Ayew brothers were at some point playing in the Premier League but since the move of Andre to Qatar, Jordan has continued with Crystal Palace.

Salisu joined the Saints from Valladolid in 2020 and has been a big part of Southampton since then.
The 23-year-old has already played over 50 games for the Saints but still has just two caps for the Black Stars of Ghana.
This has majorly been due to controversies around his call up into the national teams including the cadet teams.
However, the 23-year-old debuted in the 3-0 Friendly loss to Brazil in September 2022 as the team prepares for the FIFA World Cup.
