23-year-old Man stabbed to death on the dancefloor of a nightclub

Tragedy struck at a Birmingham nightclub on Boxing Day, when a 23-year-old man was fatally stabbed.

Emergency services arrived at The Crane nightclub on Adderley Street in Digbeth around 11:45pm last night and shortly after, the man was pronounced dead.

A murder investigation is underway and police are seeking any witnesses who may have information about what happened.

No arrests have been made yet, but an unfortunate young man lost his life as he was simply going out to enjoy himself with friends.

The scene of the crime remains closed while officers collect evidence and local neighbourhood officers will be in the area providing people with reassurance.
