Elon Musk has taken to Twitter to criticize Mark Zuckerberg and WhatsApp.
Musk accused the Meta CEO of being “extremely partisan” and shared an article from The Federalist that claimed Zuckerberg “bought” the 2020 presidential election through donations to non-profits.
The Twitter owner also criticized WhatsApp over privacy concerns, retweeting a post from a Twitter engineer who claimed the app had used his phone’s microphone while he was asleep.
Musk suggested that many people don’t realize that WhatsApp’s founders left Meta/Facebook in disgust and supported the #DeleteFacebook campaign.
Elon has been increasingly critical of Zuckerberg in recent years, comparing him to King Louis XIV and calling Facebook “lame.”
Neither Musk nor Meta have responded to requests for comment.
